Islamic Relief has implemented the Charity Week (Islamic Relief UK) funded project ‘Life Saving Emergency Support for Rohingya Children’ living in Bhashanchar, Bangladesh. A total of 587 children have been enrolled to receive education, based on the national curriculum of Myanmar.
As part of this project Islamic Relief Bangladesh will:
• Conduct educational activities through 5 classes – Early Childhood Education (ECE), KG, Grade-1, Grade-2 and Grade-3.
• Provide 3,150 exercise books, 4,000 pens, 1,020 boxes of colour pencils and 200 packets of art paper over the next 6 months.
Since August 2023, our teams have been distributing these educational materials to the students. Students and their parents are very happy receiving these materials.
