Programmes

Islamic Relief is implementing Child Rights programme in Bangladesh for both orphan & non-orphan vulnerable children through different interventions. We work to ensure a safe and child-friendly life for children and thus translate its vision into achievement following the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Children (UNCRC). We administer various programmes under this.

  • One to One child sponsorship programme
  • Focus and furnish family and community-based model programme for orphan children
  • Ensure sustainable livelihood support for orphan children families
  • Provide essential healthcare to the families of orphan children
  • Support 7000 orphan children across the country
  • In 2019 our ‘ALO’ model was rewarded the highly prestigious UK-based ‘BOND International Development Award’ under ‘innovation category’.
