Mohaiminur Rahman Shaheen, holding BSS (Hons) and Master’s degree in Social Welfare and Research from the University of Dhaka, has joined Islamic Relief as the MEAL Manager. His academic prowess was acknowledged with the Prof. Ayesha Noman Memorial Gold Medal. With over 13 years of experience in the humanitarian and development sector, he brings a wealth of expertise in MEAL, project management, and strategic planning.

Throughout his career, spanning more than a decade, Mohaimin has held key roles at prominent organizations including Islamic Relief, Save the Children, World Vision, Action Aid, Human Relief Foundation UK and United Nations Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO). As a MEAL professional, he played a pivotal role in conceiving and executing various projects funded by renowned institutions such as DFID, WFP, UNICEF, UNHCR, and USAID.

His extensive experience extends to building and managing multi-sector complex programs, covering thematic areas such as food security, livelihoods, climate change, disaster risk reduction, resilience building, child rights/child protection, accountability to affected people, and protection.
