In 2021, IRB carried out the Qurbani project in benefiting 83,195 vulnerable families across the country. Total 2377 cows were sacrificed during Eid ul-Adha.
Islamic Relief occasionally runs Aqiqah Projects which provide the Aqiqah meat directly to those most in need. Through Aqiqah, Islamic Relief distributes fresh meat packs to the most vulnerable members of the community, such as widowed women, children, the elderly and those who have been forced to flee their homes.
Distribution of Eid gifts is also a part of Islamic Relief’s seasonal project. During Eid time, Islamic Relief distributes gift packs among the poor and needy families with food, clothes and essential items which bring joy to them. By distributing these Eid gift packs, Islamic Relief makes Eid day a truly happy day for them who cannot afford buying new clothes and food items.
